Accessibility Statement

This portal is being built to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, as required by the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW).

Measures taken

• A “Skip to main content” link is the first focusable element on every page.
• All content is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
• Data tables use header cells and captions so screen readers can announce them correctly.
• Search and filtering work without JavaScript, using standard HTML forms.
• Colour is never the only means of conveying information.
• Text resizes to 200% without loss of content or function.

Known limitations

• A full third-party accessibility audit is scheduled before public launch.
• Marathi language content is not yet available.
